Saratoga County Public Health Response to Governor’s Travel Advisory
All people who travel to Saratoga County from the running list of states that have COVID-19 restrictions need to self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival to our county. Contact Saratoga County Public Health upon entering the county in order to receive proper procedures for self-quarantine.
Anyone traveling to our area from Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, California, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada and Tennessee is mandated to abide by the 14-day self-quarantine. The complete guidance can be found here. https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory
It is extremely important that you monitor yourself for symptoms every day and contact a doctor and our local health department if symptoms appear.
Hotels, motels, campgrounds and other lodging should send Public Health referral information so we can contact, assess, provide education and actively monitor these visitors.
The Saratoga County Public Health Department has linked travel information and guidance — both within the U.S. and internationally — on its COVID-19 website:
